HSA/FSA/DCA Accounts During Leave of Absence
As you prepare for your upcoming leave of absence, we want to ensure that you are aware of your options regarding your Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Dependent Care Account (DCA) during this time.
While on leave, you have two choices for managing your accounts:
1. Pay-As-You-Go Option: With this option, deductions will be taken from your paycheck as normal, so long as your paycheck contains enough funds to cover it. HR will then notify IGOE that payment has been made, and they will unfreeze your account on a monthly basis to allow claims to be reimbursed for the month paid.
2. Make-Up Payments Option: Alternatively, you may arrange for HR to take the missed contributions after you return from your leave of absence. IGOE will then unfreeze your account for the period you were on leave.
Please take a moment to consider which option best suits your needs. Once you have made your decision, kindly notify HR at hrteam@shschools.org so that we can inform IGOE accordingly and ensure smooth management of your HSA/FSA/DCA accounts during your absence.
If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are here to support you every step of the way.
Thank you,
The HR Team
